This week, in topic, we will be looking at Ancient Greek religion. We would like the children to research the three following questions and then choose one Ancient Greek god to write about.

  1. Who was the king of the gods?
  2. Where did the gods live?
  3. Who were the Titans?

Choose one Ancient Greek god and write some interesting facts about them to share with the class and stick into books.

    Titans are where Gaea and Uranus had twelve titans 6 male 6 females. Coeus, Cronus, Crius, Hyperion, Iapetus and Oceanus were the boys Mnemosyne, Phoebe, Rhea, Theia, Themis, Tethys were the girls.
    Athena: She was a Greek goddess of wisdom, craft, and war. She was syncretized* with the Roman goddess Minerva. She also had one child called Annabeth.
    *Syncretized means to attempt to amalgamate or reconcile.

He has his own set of enchanted tools and a chariot led by four black horses to announce his arrival. In Ancient Greek, Hades means invisible This refers to his helmet that turns people invisible if they put it on.
