Grammar homework – due on Friday 17th

Last week, in grammar, we looked at synonyms for common words. This week, we will be looking at antonyms. We would like the children to complete the following:

  • Write a definition for antonyms.
  • Find antonyms for the following words and then list  three tier 2 words (higher level vocabulary) e.g. Big = small, tiny, minute, miniscule
  • Tired
  • Young
  • Shout
  • Loud
  • Strong
